What is a comprehensive master plan?
A comprehensive master plan is a long-range planning document that guides the city's future growth and development, its priorities, and its services.
It is a road map that helps us visualize where we want to go as a community and how we there. Your input in the comprehensive planning process is ESSENTIAL in determining the next big thing - the vision - for Sallisaw.
Why does this matter?
Sallisaw's Comprehensive Master Plan will serve as a roadmap for the city's growth, development, and enhancement over the next 20 years. This intentional process begins with the understanding where Sallisaw stands today and, more importantly, envisions the kind of community residents want to build for the future - how it should look, feel, and function.
And it starts with you.
